2 weeks until Barred and Broody is scheduled to open and we're hustling like crazy. It's still farm season so we're working 7 days a week planting, weeding, and picking produce, taking care of chickens and pigs, and attending 11 markets a week.
Rebecca and Sarah have been working nights and off hours getting the space painted and I've been working an hour here and and hour there getting the business side figured out. We're super excited to get opened just in time to get our feet under us in time for holiday pie season. We're starting to buy apples from our friends at OHF orchard and are starting to put out feelers for pie pumpkins grown without pesticides.
